I’m writing with a heavy heart and an exhausted morale to express my alarm about the Trump administration's unauthorized military strikes in Venezuela and dangerous escalation toward an illegal and unnecessary war. I ask that you - immediately pass a war powers resolution to block all unauthorized strikes or military action in Venezuela, (and) - hold public hearings to investigate the legality and justification for the administration's aggressive use of military force, (and) - call for the impeachment of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, (and) - demand the resignation of Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, (and) - support articles of impeachment and move to convict Trump for his repeated defiance of the law. Our country's reputation, goodwill, and morale standing has been irreparably damaged by this administration and these are the only actions to rectify it. The soul of our country is at stake, and you have a legal, ethical, and moral obligation to stand up for the people who elected you and do your part to right the course. Thank you for your time.
