It's clear and obvious that the only chance we have is to wield the same executive powers that Trump is exercising to hold Republicans accountable for what they have allowed to happen. If the GOP were forced to experience the same level of overreach that they've allowed to go unchecked, we would certainly see some proper checks and balances.
