I’m writing to urge you to oppose any budget reconciliation bill that cuts Veterans’ benefits or services.
We don’t need to give billionaires any more tax cuts. What we DO need to do instead is honor our solemn promise to our Vets. They risked their lives to protect our democracy, and now Congress is pulling the rug out from underneath them when NO ONE VOTED FOR THESE CUTS. That’s not the democracy they risked their lives for.
Don’t vote for any Reconciliation bill with cuts to the Veteren’s Administration workforce, offices, or services. These cuts would impact the 9.8 million vets who rely on those services.
We need you to publicly defend the Veteren’s Administration from tax cuts for the billionaires.
Thank you for all you do for the people.
