I'm writing to urge you to isolate the DHS funding bill from the package of other bills, that I fully support. I'm asking for you to push for an appropriations bill that provides material consequences for not meeting the ICE restrictions incorporated in the House bill. The killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti are part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence carried out by federal immigration enforcement and the Senator has the power to stop it.
