Trump and GOP are attempting to shift primary tax burden to tariffs so they can reduce income taxes on the uber-wealthy. Tariffs are a tax on consumers. Ultimately, the middle class will be more impoverished by this. Sellers of goods have been absorbing early tariffs so Trump has a limited window to fool his cult that they aren't paying more because of tariffs. Best to make them pass thru the tariffs so folks see the real impact asap. Stand strong against this strategy and call it out. Repetition works.
