Vote NO on SAVE Act HR 8281

To: Sen. Hirono, Sen. Schatz, Rep. Tokuda

From: A constituent in Kailua Kona, HI

February 12

I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the “SAVE” act, HR8281. Below I will include a link to the Center for American Progress which lists the key issues with this bill. I strongly emphasize all of these points. Some examples include eliminating 84% of married woman voters and blocking access to rural voters, moves that would be devastating for Hawaii’s voice in local AND federal elections. As someone with experience living in Hawaii, the US mainland, and abroad, I understand the weight of the threat these changes pose. Please vote NO on HR8281 Mahalo nui loa for your time and attention to this issue. americanprogress.org/article/the-save-act-overview-and-facts/
