Silence Is Complicity. Take a Stand Against Trumps Repeated Rhetoric & Racism
To: Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Casar, Sen. Cruz
From: A verified voter in Austin, TX
February 10
The President spent Super Bowl Sunday criticizing a halftime show because the performer sang in Spanish. “Nobody understands a word this guy is saying.” Days earlier, he posted AI images depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. In September, he shared an AI video showing Hakeem Jeffries in a sombrero and mustache. 42 million Spanish-speaking citizens live here. He calls their language “disgusting.” Meanwhile, real problems go unsolved. He acts like a teenager with a phone, and no one will take it away from him.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune declined to comment. House Speaker Mike Johnson said nothing. Senate Whip John Barrasso remained silent. Senator Tim Scott called the Obama video “the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House” and then did nothing. These are the people running Congress. They won’t say a word to the President but expect your vote in November.
Your constituents sent you to solve problems. Release the unredacted Epstein files. Fix healthcare costs bankrupting families. 44 million Americans don’t have enough to eat. We’re counting on you to be a leader when the man in the Oval Office won’t or can’t be the President the US so desperately needs.
