I am writing to urge you to call for an independent investigation into the serious allegations contained in the Justice Department documents released on January 30, 2026, related to Jeffrey Epstein. These documents include multiple unverified but deeply disturbing claims that demand thorough examination by investigators outside the current administration.
The newly released FBI files contain allegations spanning decades, including claims from an FBI tip sheet dated August of last year. One entry describes a woman reporting that her friend was forced to perform oral sex on President Trump when the friend was 13 or 14 years old, approximately 35 years ago in New Jersey. The FBI noted the caller was contacted and the lead was forwarded to the Washington office for interview, though no outcome is recorded. Additional allegations in the files reference sex trafficking at Trump Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes between 1995 and 1996, with Ghislaine Maxwell allegedly acting as a broker at sex parties, and claims about parties at Mar-a-Lago where children were allegedly brought in by Jeffrey Epstein.
While the DOJ has stated these documents may include false material and the White House has dismissed the allegations as unfounded, the sheer volume and specificity of these claims warrant independent scrutiny. The fact that the DOJ website briefly went down after releasing these documents, with the department citing overload, demonstrates significant public concern.
I am asking you to publicly call for an independent investigation into these allegations, separate from any DOJ oversight by the current administration. The American people deserve answers about whether these claims were properly investigated and whether any credible evidence exists. Our government must demonstrate that no one, regardless of position, is above accountability for serious criminal allegations.
Will you commit to demanding an independent investigation into these matters?
