I need you to commit to active resistance against Trump's authoritarian agenda. His power is weakening, but a cornered autocrat is still dangerous. The Supreme Court has already rejected his tariff policies and will likely strike down his birthright citizenship claims by June. His approval ratings have dropped into the 30s, and even our international allies are refusing to follow his reckless lead on Iran. This is the moment to press our advantage. I expect you to exercise real oversight, issue subpoenas where warranted, and refuse to normalize his increasingly erratic behavior. Trump governs through intimidation, counting on the message that resistance is useless. Prove him wrong. The November elections could bring a Blue Wave that restores genuine congressional accountability. Between now and then, I will be attending protests, writing letters, and mobilizing voters in our district. I need to know you will meet this moment with the same urgency. Trump's desperation makes him more dangerous, not less. His fantasy that he can simply announce his desires and bend the Constitution to his will must be rejected at every turn.
