Investigate Trump, his family's financial dealings, the Iran war, and cabinet officials including Pete Hegseth, and vote to convict on any articles of impeachment that reach the floor. Voters just handed Democrats a mandate, and the time to use it is January, not after months of watching to see if the president plays nice. Trump told Politico on election night he doesn't want to spend two years "vetoing everything." That's not compromise. That's a man trying to slow-walk consequences. The incoming Democratic majority has subpoena power, the Senate's explicit legal authority to sue for compliance under the 1978 statute, and serious targets ready: Trump's construction projects, improper enrichment by Trump and his family, the Iran war, DOGE-driven destruction of the federal civil service, and Hegseth's conduct at the Pentagon. Use every tool. Voters didn't flip both chambers so Democrats could manage Trump. They flipped them to stop him. Get him out of office.
