I'm writing to call for an end to blatant censorship and hypocrisy. While Donald Trump and his cabinet are ripping away human rights and Internet access from state to state, The Epstein files still have not been released in full, Democrats are working with Republicans to weaken First Amendment rights, the FCC and FTC are jawboning speech and expression on all platforms, and amid all of this kids are still in danger of being shot, trafficked, exploited or abducted by ICE. As a constituent I can't help but feel that KOSA and other bills and laws like it are nothing but censorious political theater disguised as solutions to issues that would be better solved not by Congress or Big Tech, but by parents being taught how to be tech-savvy to keep their kids safe. SESTA and FOSTA did nothing but make it harder for law enforcement to properly investigate trafficking and grooming. Oppose KOSA, IODA, the SCREEN Act, BlockBEARD, APCA, FADPA, StOP CSAM, KOSMA and protect Section 230. Saving encryption and free speech would protect privacy for minors and their families while keeping out criminals.
