An Open Letter

To: Sen. Tuberville, Rep. Palmer, Sen. Britt

From: A constituent in Birmingham, AL

Dear Members of Congress, As a concerned American, I urge you to act now to protect Social Security. Millions of seniors and working families depend on these benefits they have paid into their entire lives. Please pass legislation that shores up the Social Security Trust Fund so that full benefits can continue without cuts or delays. The program should not be used as bargaining power in budget debates. Our seniors deserve the security they’ve earned. I ask you to prioritize a long-term, bipartisan solution before the projected shortfall becomes a crisis. Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.
