We cannot allow S.394 to enable corruption or foreign influence in our political system. As representatives of the people, we must firmly reject any measures that risk compromising the integrity and transparency of our democracy. This stablecoin legislation deserves scrutiny to ensure it closes potential loopholes for illicit funding sources, dark money channels, or conflicts of interest. The American people deserve better than shady backroom deals that put corporate interests ahead of the public good. Upholding our bedrock principles of accountability and ethics in governance should be our utmost priority when considering this bill. We have an obligation to get this right.
