Stop Supporting Internet Censorship

To: Sen. Markey, Rep. Lynch, Sen. Warren

From: A constituent in Brockton, MA

January 13

I am one of your constituents in Brockton Massachusetts, and I am writing you to stop any and all support for internet censorship bills such as KOSA. These bills will not make the internet safer for children and will only be used to silence marginalized groups by making discussion of LGBTQ+ topics illegal, and silencing the voices in the trans and queer communities. If parents want their children to be safe on the internet, there are already tools available for them to do so, this is not the government's responsibility. If you continue to support these bills, I will not vote for you when it comes time for your re-election.
