End ICE. Not reform it, not retrain it — abolish it. What happened at El Corralón in Memphis on August 30th was not a criminal investigation. ICE agents showed up at 1 a.m. with vans ready to load people up. Immigration attorney Casey Bryant said it plainly: that's what an immigration raid looks like, not a drug or gambling bust. Around 90 people were detained and taken to a facility in Mason, Tennessee, with some pressured to sign voluntary departure orders on the spot. This is a pattern, not an anomaly. The Supreme Court already struck down one birthright citizenship order as unconstitutional, and now a second executive order is being challenged in federal court. The administration keeps pushing until something sticks. Meanwhile, real people are being taken from their communities in the middle of the night.
