Every American must recognize the danger to the country posed by the current chaos. Illegally firing federal workers and impoundment of funds by the current administration is destabilizing the nation. The American people do not want to be an enemy to the world, siding with totalitarian governments against our long-standing allies. Stop the madness. No continuing resolution on the budget and no raise to the debt ceiling until Elon Musk and Donald Trump are stopped from dismantling the country from the inside. The American people did not vote to become a religious totalitarian state or a big tech oligarchy. Yet here we are, losing not just our freedom but our reputation around the globe.
