Vote YES on Floor Amendments to Strip Section 224 from the FY2027 NDAA

To: Sen. Peters, Sen. Slotkin, Rep. Bergman

From: A constituent in Beulah, MI

June 5

I am a constituent, and I am writing to demand that you introduce or vote YES on a floor amendment to completely strip Section 224 (the U.S.-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative) from the FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The failed committee vote on June 4 proves that leadership is out of touch with regular voters. Section 224 deeply embeds a foreign nation directly into the United States military network and intelligence systems via "data fusion" and "network integration." This erodes American military independence, bypasses essential Congressional oversight, and permanently binds taxpayer funds to foreign military tech without democratic accountability. Protect American sovereignty and vote to strip Section 224 from the final defense bill.
