NO to DOGE cutting Veterans Healthcare

To: Pres. Biden, Sen. Cornyn, Rep. Cloud, Sen. Cruz

From: A constituent in Corpus Christi, TX

December 8

The proposed budget cuts to the Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system of $119 billion over the next decade are unacceptable. Our nation's veterans have sacrificed greatly to serve our country, and we have a moral obligation to provide them with high-quality, comprehensive medical care. Slashing funding for the VA would jeopardize access to essential services for millions of former service members, many of whom have service-related injuries or conditions requiring long-term treatment. This would be a profound betrayal of the promises made to those who put their lives on the line for our nation. We urge you to reject these harmful cuts and instead work to strengthen and expand VA healthcare to meet the needs of all our veterans.
