I am writing to express my strong opposition to "Right to Work" laws, which I believe are harmful to workers and undermine their rights. Here’s why:
• Lower wages: Studies show that workers in Right to Work states earn less on average than those in states without these laws.
• Weakened bargaining power: By reducing union strength, these laws make it harder for workers to negotiate for fair wages, benefits, and working conditions.
• More workplace inequality: Right to Work can lead to less workplace protection, making it easier for employers to exploit workers.
• Increased worker instability: With fewer protections, workers face more job insecurity and less support in the workplace.
Instead of supporting these laws, we should strengthen workers' rights to ensure fair wages, better working conditions, and a stable economy for all.
