Every single Democratic lawmaker should be calling for Defense Secretary Hegseth's immediate resignation right now. Not just some. Not just a few dozen. Every single one, starting at the top with Senator Schumer and Representative Jeffries. And the fact that it hasn't happened yet is nearly as shocking as Hegseth's own conduct. Demand that your party’s leadership publicly and wholeheartedly speak out. Hegseth, Waltz, Gabbard, and Vance should all be investigated for this. Hegseth, Waltz, and Gabbard should all resign. To be blunt, if this were a Democratic administration, Hegseth needing to immediately step down would quickly be a consensus bi-partisan position. Hold this administration to the standard that they would hold others, and not just as a “tit for tat” but because the casual incompetence of the Secretary of Defense and other national security leaders is truly making us less safe as a nation.
