Continued military support for Israel while it engages in unlawful behavior and human rights violations enables further escalation and loss of innocent life. Unilateral action should be taken to cease all aid and apply stern diplomatic pressure until Israel reverses its dangerous trajectory under Netanyahu's belligerent leadership. Additional US forces in the region serve only to enmesh America deeper into an unjust conflict and make our troops potential casualties defending indefensible policies. Prioritizing a just peace through multinational cooperation and sanctions on Israel's government is the ethical path forward.
