As we know it's almost time to switch our clocks back an hour. As a constituent, I am writing you in order to ask you to improve the practice of switching, not to eliminate it. We would all be better served by making tweaks to DST and ST changes, rather than keeping the clocks unchanged. One suggestion is to make the following Monday after the time change a holiday. This would give families more time to adjust to the changes and to give their bodies the sleep they need to prevent accidents. In addition to this, the day to change clocks should be during a Friday evening or Saturday morning. Having it done on a Sunday only makes it more disorienting. Doing it in a day before the weekend or even before next week would give people more time to adjust. Giving them the following Monday off, and a Tuesday if possible, would prevent traffic accidents and heart attacks, along with curbing sleep deprivation.
