I understand that you have not yet taken a stand against the ongoing war crimes Israel is committing in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. Please understand this: it is immoral and unacceptable for us as a country to be cutting national funding for everything from cancer research to social security while we are also Still. Funding. Israel’s. Genocide. Also understand that I cannot vote for Congressional reps who are so beholden to lobbyists that they can’t vote for what everyone knows is right: that Palestinian people are people, and do not deserve to be collectively punished, tortured, starved, and killed for the crimes of a few. We all know that the ethnic cleansing of Gaza is about fossil fuel (and wealth) extraction, which makes it an even more intolerable situation. None of us can afford this ongoing assault on our fellow humans and our shared planet. It must end, and you are who the state of California has elected to take a stand for all of us. Please do your job. Thank you.
