Maine depends on trade relations and good relations with Canada. The federal government’s choice to break off trade negotiations is so irresponsible. It is beyond time for Congress to step in and take a charge as is your constitutional responsibility. Maine’s economy is non-partisan and relations with Canada should not be considered a “Democrats” issue. Senator Collins, it is truly your responsibility to use your influence to address this huge problem. Congress should be in charge of the budget and should take back some reasonable control of our government
