Please save Medicaid. In my 25 year career, I’ve only ever been offered healthcare through one job. For nearly 20 years, I’ve had to get insurance privately. The ACA was life changing for me and my family. I know we have benefited from Medicaid expansion through the ACA. But I’m not asking for myself and my family only - half the children in the US receive health insurance through Medicaid. I’ve seen many hardworking people, juggling multiple jobs and working 80 hrs a week - still not able to afford food and healthcare for their families. This benefit must be saved, especially in the face of tax cuts for billionaires. It is cruel and inhumane to take medical care and food assistance from hard working people and children - for what? The savings is negligible and the Trump admin in their cost-saving has already overspent the Biden admin by $130+ billion this year alone. Please voice your dissent and do not in any way support the GOP’s Big Beautiful money grab budget bill!
