Address the real threats. Oppose the Caucus!

To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

November 23

The Kids Online Safety Caucus supports bills that would essentially create the ideal conditions for predators and cyber criminals: isolation, limited access to information, censorship, and constant surveillance without consent. As a great-aunt and a constituent, I urge you to oppose the packages proposed by the Caucus. Jeffrey Epstein would approve of laws like FOSTA and SESTA: they silenced trafficking victims online and made unsafe conditions for sex workers under the guise of 'protection'. Law enforcement is more likely to traffic kids and distribute CSAM than any other demographic. It's time to address that instead of punishing the Internet.
