Insurance/Medicare changes

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. Babin, Sen. Cornyn

From: A constituent in Houston, TX

July 31

Please oppose changes to modifier 25 for insurance and Medicare. This would put extraordinary burden on patients just trying to get healthcare in this already broken system. It’s unconscionable to require patients to come back into the office for additional tests when the provider can do it while you are already there. I imagine since you already have amazing free healthcare that you don’t fully grasp the complexity and burden this puts on patients. Try to just take our word for it on this. We are suffering due to cuts and Changes to our healthcare system.
