“Their air defense, Air Force, Navy and leadership are gone. They want to talk. I said ‘too late!’” Donald J tRump, 3 March 2026. This says it all. By tRump’s admission, Iran has been decimated and left defenseless. No Air Force or Navy. No Air Defense capability in what so far has been an exclusively air war. And there is NO ONE left in the Iranian government left to negotiate. Makes you wonder WHO tRump heard from in Iran that wants “to talk”? So tRump initiates hostilities with Iran without requesting Congressional approval because Iran was “imminently” going to attack America interests. After three days, we have destroyed Iran’s air defenses, Air Force and Navy, and “someone” in Iran wants “to talk” (even though Iran’s leadership has been eliminated). But OUR President unilaterally decides (again - without consultation with Congress) that it is “too late” for Iran to seek peace. What is left for tRump’s military excursion? No Iranian leadership. No Iranian Air Force. No Iranian Navy. Truth - according to tRump. The only thing left is petulent punishment of Iranian civilians, STILL without Congressional authorization. Is this why we maintain the most deadly and effective military on Earth? Is this what we expect an American President to do from the office that leads the free world? And yet Congress is busy sitting on their hands whining about tRump usurping ALL Article I authority and responsibilities. Not DOING anything. Congress DOES have one remaining duty. Ironically, it is defined in the Cobstitution’s Article II. Section 4: Impeachment. If Congress fails to fulfill its duty by impeaching tRump now, I have to wonder WHY we tolerate any of our Representatives and Senators? If they won’t perform their DUTY, we can’t expect them to fulfill their oath of office either. Vote them out. ALL of them.
