Trump is engaged in the beginning of a genocide. Any superficial study of the history of Hitler’s Nazi Germany makes its blindingly obvious. Trump has ordered that trans identity be deleted by removing pronouns from federal employee emails. He’s blocked gender affirming health care from legal adults (to say nothing of adolescents which need this care). Studies have shown that trans people and especially trans youth are at substantially elevated risk of suicide when deprived of gender affirming care and that their suicide rates fall to the same as others in their age group when they receive the proper health care that they require. It’s well past the point where people can stand by and ignore Trump’s actions as if they’re normal. More people will die needlessly as a result of his abusive genocidal actions. Yet Democratic leadership continues to sit idly by and do nothing to call out and obstruct his agenda. As far as I can tell from the outside, my elected representatives are watching from the sidelines as a Nazi takeover of America happens before our eyes. What in god’s name are you going to do to block this administration? When are you going to start?
