No war with Venezuela

To: Sen. Alfheim, Sen. Baldwin, Rep. Wied, Gov. Evers, Pres. Trump, Sen. Johnson, Rep. Snodgrass

From: A constituent in Appleton, WI

December 18

This push for war with Venezuela is not in America’s best interest. It will be an expensive waste of taxpayer funds that will do nothing to make life better for the average American. We all know that this is about getting control of Venezuela’s oil. That’s why we took that oil tanker and why Trump is threatening war if Venezuela doesn’t give us control of oil fields (he posted this on Truth Social). Of course, in addition to being pointless for the average American, it’s also incredibly unjust and immoral to declare war on the people of Venezuela. We have already killed far too many people with impunity, and it’s a disgrace that it is being allowed to continue. We don’t need to be a warmongering country. We can be better. Please do your part to help make that happen.
