The Trump administration is reviving one of its most heinous practices — family detentions. Are you planning to do anything to stop this? Family detention, ‘disappearing’ or expelling legal residents, defying court orders to send people to concentration camps in El Salvador. These are not the actions of decent, moral country. These are the actions of a racist, authoritarian regime. I am outraged and terrified about what is happening to my country under the Trump administration. My expectations were that Congress would manage to stand up to this administration. Unfortunately, the entire GOP seems to buy into this regime and/or lack the courage to say ‘no’ and defend the Constitution as they swore to do. I understand that the Democrats are the minority party in Congress, but there HAS to be a way to slow things down and resist. Make America DECENT again. Make America MORAL again. Make America TRUSTWORTHY again.
