Prime Minister Netanyahu's record of military aggression, illegal settlement expansion, and institutionalized discrimination against Palestinians is an affront to human rights and international law. Allowing him to address Congress in the midst of what amounts to a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing risks granting a veneer of legitimacy to war crimes and apartheid policies. His presence would be an insult to democratic values and a stain on America's global standing. We demand that you revoke the invitation and instead use the full force of U.S. diplomatic and economic power to compel an immediate end to the occupation, dismantling of the Gaza siege, and establishment of a viable, fully sovereign Palestinian state. Anything less is complicity in perpetuating a racist, oppressive regime unworthy of your support.
