Our family reacted to news that Rep. Massie had introduced articles of impeachment for Secretary Hegseth with relief and hope. Yet Republicans in control are sending congress home early rather than vote. This is a nonsense power play and miscarriage of justice. Secretary Hegseth has dragged the American people into an expensive, endless, and un-winnable war, put American soldiers and sailors at risk without being able to provide for their physical and material well-being, caused an exodus of competent and honorable leadership from the Armed Forces that it will take decades to recover from, and tarnished our standing with allies, all for an ego trip as so called Secretary of War. My family and loved ones in the military risked their lives to perform their jobs and serve our country. You need to stand up and do your job as a member of Congress and representative of the American people. Democrats cannot roll over and let this go. You need to follow through on the impeachment of Sec. Hegseth
