Please push against the nomination of Tulsi Gabbard as DNI. She is not qualified, and may not be able to pass a national security check. Her record of Russia-aligned public statements would likely undermine the ability of the United States to acquire intelligence from allies and partners, current and former intelligence officials. For this and many other reasons, putting her in any position related to the military or national security is a significant security risk for the United States, and a danger to our citizens. For all Senate nominees, please insist on an FBI background check, and a full Senate confirmation hearing.
