“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” —George Orwell (1984). Are we headed towards what Mr. Orwell described in his book? To me it seems we are and our elected officials in Congress are doing nothing to stop this. What happened to Congress being a "check and balance" on the presidents use of power?
