Stop Funding Foreign Regime Change — Fix Problems at Home

To: Rep. Guest, Sen. Wicker, Sen. Hyde-Smith

From: A verified voter in Starkville, MS

August 11

Stop sending American money to prop up foreign governments that serve Trump's political interests. The administration just pledged $1 billion to Colombia the moment a Trump-endorsed candidate took office — not because it serves Americans, but because the new president is a Republican who supports Trump. That's not foreign policy. That's patronage with taxpayer dollars. The CIA has secretly established a Cuba task force running covert influence operations to install a compliant leader there, modeled on what the administration did in Venezuela. Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz is closed, farmers can't get fertilizer, and gas prices are still elevated. Congress has the constitutional authority to rein in these operations and cut off this funding. Use it.
