This election, Pennsylvanians voted out Senator Bob Casey, who chose silence over justice. I, along with countless members of the Arab and Muslim communities and friends and allies of the Palestinian people, reached out to you to demand action on the genocide and suffering of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. We urged you to call for a ceasefire. You refused. Leila Hazou took a stand and ran against you. And if you didn’t notice, the votes she received – 64,088 – doubled the margin of your loss to Dave McCormick. It speaks volumes about what Pennsylvanians care about and what they won’t tolerate anymore. Will your humanity do the right thing before you leave the office? ▪︎ Address the blatant human rights violations against the Palestinian people. ▪︎ Take action for a permanent ceasefire now. ▪︎ Restore funding to UNRWA. ▪︎ Halt all weapons transfers and sales to Israel.
