I’m relieved and pleased with the results of this midterm election! However, it’s important to pay attention to the leadership of both the House and the Senate in the coming months. Jefferies is no longer qualified to lead the house. He is out of touch and much too conciliatory to take the next steps needed. Schumer, the same. We need strong and progressive leadership in both houses. Elizabeth Warren would be my ideal Senate leader. The house has many possible strong candidates…Pramila, AOC, etc. I urge you to take strong positions with regard to these leadership roles when the time comes. Thank you.
