According to ICE, “ICE officers arrested Benazir Noorzad, an illegal alien from Afghanistan, on Oct. 22. Noorzad was admitted to the United States lawfully in 2021 but violated the terms of her lawful admission by failing to depart the country by the end of her lawful status.” According to my information, this woman is a Fulbright scholar who was gainfully employed in county government; is awaiting a scheduled immigration asylum hearing and her life may be endangered. Something seems wrong about her detainment. I do not trust ICE. Please investigate. Thank you for your service to our country.
