Awdah Hathaleen — a fearless advocate for his people — was murdered by Israeli settlers in the very community he had fought to protect.
Only a month ago, the Trump administration denied Awdah entry to the U.S., silencing his voice before he could speak in San Francisco about the violent settler and state attacks his village endures. Now, that very violence has taken his life.
👉🏽 This is not a distant tragedy — it is a direct result of U.S. policy.
The weapons used to kill Awdah were funded by U.S. aid. The silence that followed his visa denial was complicity.
The pattern of censorship in our schools and workplaces is part of the same machine that buried his voice before it buried his body.
We demand that you:
• Publically and Unequivocally condemn Awdah’s killing.
• Immediately cut U.S. military funding to Israel.
• Reinstate UNRWA funding and demand the dismantling of the disastrous Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF.)
• Defend our right to speak the truth about Palestine — in schools, workplaces, and the halls of power. Please take immediate action now!
