Impeach Treasury Secretary Bessent immediately for privatizing the Treasury payment system. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's decision to grant Elon Musk and his unaccountable team control over the Treasury Department's payment system used to disburse trillions in public funds is an egregious violation of public trust. By privatizing this crucial government infrastructure, Bessent has enabled an unelected billionaire to wield alarming influence over the national finances. This blatant attack on democratic principles puts the financial well-being of working Americans at risk for the benefit of the wealthy few. Bessent's impeachment is warranted to rectify this unacceptable overreach and restore public oversight of the nation's financial systems. His impeachment would reinforce that no individual is above the law and government powers cannot be parceled out to the highest bidder. Decisive action is needed to prevent further consolidation of public resources by the ultra-rich at the expense of the people. As our elected congresswoman you should introduce a privileged motion to impeach Scott Bessent immediately. His willingness to give access to the Treasury department's funds to non-elected Elon Musk's group of unqualified college students who downloaded Americans' financial data onto private thumb drives is horrifying and a breach of privacy law.
