Protect Human Dignity Enact Strict Protections Against Abuse and Deviant Culture
To: Sen. Peters, Sen. Slotkin, Rep. Bergman
From: A constituent in Beulah, MI
June 13
I am writing to urge you to champion a comprehensive legislative and diplomatic initiative aimed at eradicating severe forms of human exploitation, violence, and abuse both domestically and globally. True freedom cannot exist without the absolute protection of human dignity and bodily autonomy. Behaviors that systematically violate, objectify, and harm individuals must be treated as severe violations of human rights, not protected as expressions of individual liberty. I call on you to take immediate legislative action on the following fronts to dismantle what can only be described as a toxic and deviant culture of exploitation: 1. Establish an Explicit International Accord Against Cannibalism The United States must instruct its delegation to the United Nations General Assembly to introduce a formal amendment to international human rights frameworks, explicitly codifying cannibalism as a distinct crime against humanity. While universally reviled, the consumption of human flesh must be explicitly outlawed by name in a dedicated international treaty, creating a binding, global commitment to eradicate the practice without exception. 2. Standardize Global Protections Against Domestic and Sexual Violence We must leverage U.S. foreign policy and foreign aid to enforce a global standard of human dignity. I urge you to expand the enforcement mechanisms of the Leahy Law framework, ensuring that any foreign nation that fails to aggressively investigate, prosecute, and eliminate rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence is completely barred from receiving U.S. security assistance, diplomatic funding, or trade benefits. 3. Ban Commercial Adult Content via the Commerce Clause I urge Congress to exercise its full authority under the Interstate Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution to enact a comprehensive ban on the commercial production and digital distribution of pornography within the United States. The modern adult entertainment industry fosters a culture of extreme objectification, fuels human trafficking networks, and normalizes violence. Utilizing federal commerce powers to shut down these commercial networks is a vital step toward protecting public health and restoring social dignity. True human progress requires a unified stand against behaviors that strip individuals of their safety and dignity. I urge you to introduce and support these specific policies to fight this deviant culture and restore an absolute standard of human respect.
