Trump (once again) has overstepped his authority. His illegal deployment of Marines on Los Angeles moved this country ever closer to the police state and totalitarian rule that he thirsts for. His animosity towards California and Governor Newsom has never been more apparent. It is not difficult to make the assumption that New York State could be next. All "blue states" are potential targets. Trump has said troops could be all over , not just in LA. This is NOT the mission of the US military. What are you doing to recall the Marines and return the Guard to under the control of the governor? Trump has created a tinderbox here. The protests were largely peaceful and by deploying troops he has escalated the situation. He clearly is testing the waters and effectively is declaring war on US soil against those that oppose him. Remind you of a country in the 1940s and 1940s? This is highly concerning and democracy is on the line. When will enough be enough for this Congress to take strong action against this regime to preserve the Republic?
