An inveterate liar, swindler, and manipulator regains a seat of power, thanks to the intervention of other liars, swindlers, and manipulators who are at least as shrewd and who are also arguably richer and more powerful. The cult following of the successful liar at the center is extremely valuable to the other prosperous powerful who elevated that person to power at least partially through manufacture of consent. The following is so valuable that those powerful have deep concerns about what would happen to the cult following, the support base, if somehow the central liar were no longer alive. An obvious plan would be not to let the general public know about the death of the central liar, to conceal it as long as practically possible. And you know we have all learned, often from parents' and teachers' advice, that when you begin with lies, you have to invent more and more elaborate lies sometimes, just to keep the deception working. But enough money passed back and forth by the extremely rich, some of whom own communications and social media, can make the doubts of the ordinary human being less consequential. Those media can marginalize those ordinary people's ideas, or can drown them in noise and uncertainty. The inalienable freedom to swindle, which seems to be wrapped up in our notions of capitalism, seems by this process, and the fact that we have seen it manifest in recent political and governmental events, together with the fact that WE WERE WARNED in almost every case by principled people in the know, ... ... tells me that swindling, lying, and manipulation need to be recognized by our system of laws as a very real, demonstrated domestic threat, and a clear and present danger. Certainly, election of a principled government leader who has taken a Federal oath should be an effective precaution to justify eliminating such swindling, lying, and manipulation from our political and governmental processes. We need to examine why this has not occurred, and how we can make it occur in the future ... if our country still has a future ... ... and whether or not the central liar and cult hero is in fact dead.
