I am writing as a concerned constituent to raise urgent opposition to a proposal made by
presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to establish a government registry for individuals with
autism. Such a measure is deeply troubling, discriminatory, and a clear violation of civil liberties.
Creating a government list of people based on a neurological condition sets a dangerous precedent.
It threatens the privacy and dignity of autistic individuals and could pave the way for serious abuses.
As someone who values human rights and the principles of equality under the law, I urge you to
speak out against this proposal and ensure that no legislation or federal policy ever supports such a
registry.
We must reject policies rooted in fear and misinformation and instead support efforts that foster
inclusion, autonomy, and respect for all neurodivergent individuals.
