I’m a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I’m truly getting more and more scared each day. The way this administration has went after Trans people and putting politics over people’s lives is just shocking. They are forcing all organizations that receive federal grants and aide in Michigan to sign a document saying they won’t support gender ideology BS or they will lose their grants. U of M has already said they will stop health care for trans people and they will all follow suit. I have a bad feeling that gay marriage will be overturned and I’m celebrating my 10 year anniversary with my husband in a month. Where does that leave us with no laws protecting us in Michigan and going state and where does that leave our adopted children. We have to band together to stop Trump and all of the terrible things he is doing. I’m not going anywhere, the LGBTQIA+ community has always existed and always will. We need to support, love and compassion. We are human beings.
