Trump’s peace plan for Ukraine is an attempt to surrender Ukraine to Russia. It is dangerous for Ukraine, for Europe, and for the world. It fails to uphold the commitments we've repeated made to Ukraine to support their independence, including the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances. We must force Trump to protect Ukraine. We must force Trump to abandon this surrender of Ukraine to Russia, which was apparently written by the Russians themselves.
