Demand Accountability for Trump's Unprecedented Corruption

To: Rep. DelBene, Sen. Cantwell, Pres. Trump, Sen. Murray

From: A verified voter in Bothell, WA

July 4

You need to act on the corruption happening in plain sight. Trump's own 927-page financial disclosure revealed $1.4 billion in crypto income in a single year — much of it from businesses run with his sons. He once called crypto a "rigged game for suckers," then launched $TRUMP, pocketed roughly $635 million, and left nearly a million wallet holders with losses. A $1,000 investment is now worth about $22. That's not a conflict of interest. That's a business model. It doesn't stop there. Qatar's royal family handed Trump a $400 million jet — a clear violation of the Emoluments Clause — and American taxpayers are now footing a $900 million retrofit bill diverted from missile defense. Meanwhile, a $1.6 billion tungsten mining deal in Kazakhstan is tied to Trump's sons and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik. Corporations that wrote checks for Trump's projects walked away with over $50 billion in federal contracts. This is systemic, and it's accelerating because there are no consequences. Congress has the power to change that. Hold hearings. Demand transparency. Co-sponsor legislation that closes the loopholes being exploited right now. Your constituents are watching whether you treat corruption as a partisan issue or a constitutional one.
