The people came out and voted in masses for a complete overhaul of policy. This is the biggest midterm flip in 1974. Given the amounts of massive disinformation in today’s media landscape, that makes this an even bigger vote for change than 1974.
This is a clear mandate. This is a clear vote against status quo. This is a vote for MASSIVE CHANGE.
Please understand. We the people voted overwhelmingly for Democrats because we wan CHANGE, not the same old song and dance. That includes party leadership. We thank Chuck Schumer for his service but he can no longer be Senate Leader in 2027.
Van Hollen is a name many support, but there are others. Regardless of who it is, LEADERSHIP MUST CHANGE.
We need someone more progressive, someone who understands this is a new moment in history, we need Democrats moving fast and fixing things. We will not accept incremental change and deference to corporatist ways of old. We expect more sweeping reform than we’ve ever seen. We need a the kind of reforms that will make The New Deal seem quaint. We need Dems in charge with the will and backbone to see through the kind of reconstruction that should have happened following the Civil War. We will not accept anything less. We will not accept leadership that bows to billionaires, PACs, and other wicked entities that seek to undermine the will of the people.
Please do your part. Thank Senator Schumer for his service and ask him to quietly retire from his role as Leader so that we can move forward with the change we the people voted for. We will not accept anything less.
