Although I assume none of you will vote for the $200 billion supplemental funding request for the war in Iran, I urge you to insist your fellow Democrats deny that finding as well. I know it can be difficult to be seen as not supporting the military, but that instinct has to be curbed. A vote for the money is a vote for the war, and all their constituents will see it that way. All your work trying to ensure healthcare and food for American will seem (and be) negated by pouring money into a capricious, made up and disastrous conflict. You must be unanimous and clear. There will be far to much work to do repairing the damage for any reasonable member of Congress to lose credibility and backbone.
